Sorcha is a London based singer, actor and VO artist of Irish decent. She graduated from the Arts University Bournemouth with a BA (hons) Acting degree, learning from the likes of Doug Cockle (The Witcher) and Kenneth Robertson (RSC).

 

Since then Sorcha has worked as an actor and singer on multiple projects. She’s toured around the UK with the Solomon Theatre Company and the As One Theatre Company for both TIE Productions and Contemporary Theatre Productions. She was soloist singer for the Festival of Light at Salisbury Cathedral, where she sang in conjunction with a 120-strong choir to a full house, in accompaniment with live musicians.

 

Sorcha is a versatile singer. She is a mezzo-soprano with particular interest in Jazz, Soul, Folk and Musical Theatre. This year Sorcha has released three original songs on Spotify and various other platforms, 'Snakebite', 'Poison Honey' and her latest release 'I Swear I Don't Care'. 

 

Areas of acting experience include the Stanislavsky System, Shakespeare, Acting Through Song, and the Meisner Technique.
